The Energy Corridor District is a municipal management district in West Houston that compromises nearly 1700 acres. One of Houston's premier employment centers, The Energy Corridor, is the third-largest in the region with nearly 75,000 employees. More than 50 miles of jogging, bike, and hike trails connect neighborhoods and businesses. The signage was designed to complement the heavily wooded landscape and scenic parkways that traverse the district.
