Lockheed Aerospace Company, now Lockheed Martin, requested building identification and exterior directionals at its Clear Lake, Texas headquarters.  The angle indication was derived from the angle of their logo.  The signs consisted of black polished and honed granite with backlit stainless steel channel lettering.  The directionals follow the same design intent with the angle delineating the typography layout.
