John Milkovisch began his project, now known as the Beer Can House, in 1968. Over the next 18 years, the house gradually disappeared below a cover of flattened beer cans and unique landscape features. In 2007, the Beer Can House became a permanent exhibit of The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, a folk art museum. The donor wall uses suspended handmade elements and engraved colored acrylic disks that acknowledge the creativity of its founder.
